Our son Fox had a class assignment over the weekend to bring a photo of a family member that served in the military. I was able to send him with this photo of my Dad.

My father served in WWII and the Korean War.
He passed away in the early 90's.
Our children never met him.

We used this photo culled from the amazing family history books my sister-in-law and family members have been working on. My sister-in-law Candy Holm restored this photo. She has her own business where she restores photos. Amazing things she does!

A news report I listened to today said survivors of WWII are passing away at the rate of 600 a day. I shudder to think of all the stories that are getting lost as these brave people go.

Halloween family

I usually make a family pict for Halloween.  I ran late this year.  Really late.
We're big fans of The Walking Dead, although I'm getting board with it a bit lately.
So this years theme is:
The Walking

Gregory's!

The bottom is the final inks before I did some muddling in Photoshop on it.
